• The function blocks are created and connected.
  1. Double click the alarm in node .
  1. Enter the data in the Edit alarm in node dialog box:
  • In the Name field, a descriptive designation;
  • Select the corresponding application set from the Application-Set drop-down list;
  • Select an alarm type from the Alarm-Types drop-down list.
  1. (Optional) Edit the symbol for the function block:
  • Click the Appearance symbol.
  • In the Icon drop-down list, select the Icon, e.g. .
  1. Select Done.
  • The function block is configured and selected by default for data processing.
