The BLEED-360 bleed valve prevents the pressure from increasing in the pilot circuit by creating microleaks.
- When the pilot circuit is not pressurized, the bleed valve is open (piston retracted).
- When the extinguishing system is activated, the bleed valve closes (piston extended).

The bleed valve is mounted on a pneumatic actuator: ACTF230-PNEUMX or ACTF230-PNEUMD.
Limitations
The number of bleed valves which can be installed on an extinguishing system controlled by a pilot cylinder depends on the piloting gas supply tank. With Sinorix™ gas extinguishing systems, piloting elements (pilot cylinder, pressure reducing valve, selector valve) can be used to supply a maximum of:
- 5 alarm devices (SPAH10-A pneumatic alarm horn),
- 7 bleed valves.
