Risk of burns from hot actuator brackets
The actuator brackets on heating plants can also become hot from the contact with the hot valve during operation. The temperature of the actuator bracket can reach 100 °C.
When servicing the actuator:
- Switch off both pump and operating voltage.
- Close the main shutoff valve in the piping.
- Allow the piping to cool off.
