The LMU supports the Siemens Software Updater. The user is notified about the updated versions of the product, critical fixes or important announcements without the need of running the LMU application.
A popup notification from the Siemens Software Updater appears from the right-corner of the PC, whenever there are new software updates available and required to be installed in your machine. This notification enables the user to view, download and install the latest software updates available for the LMU application.
In the System Tray user can right-click on Siemens Update Manager icon and select one of the two options. The options are as follows:
- Show All Notifications - contains the software updates of all applications installed in your PC.
- Exit – exits the Siemens Update Manager
Siemens License Management software updates
To open the Siemens License Management software updates:
- Select the menu sequence: All Programs > Siemens > Siemens Software Updates.
- The following Siemens Update Manager dialog box opens:
- Install the required LMU updates available in the dialog box.
Show all notifications
To open the Siemens Update Manager updates:
- Click Updates.
- The following Siemens Update Manager dialog box opens:
- Install the required LMS updates available in the dialog box.
Note: The user can download the latest updates and can install the software update later on.
