LMU 2.4 has introduced SUR Expiration Date product workflow.

SUR expiration date product workflow requires only two steps: create the SUR expiry date product file and load it to the target computer.

After successful completion, the correct SUR Expiration Date is applied to the target system and to the connected license clients.

This procedure is used if the target computer does not have an internet connection or is not allowed to access the internet, e.g. Desigo CC in a private network.

SUR Expiry Date Product workflow consists of the following task:

  1. On the LMS server, the engineer generates the corresponding SUR expiry date product file and sends it to the target computer.
  2. The user manually copies the SUR expiry date product file for offline PC to the LMU of the target system via Internet (Intranet, USB devices, etc.).
  3. The user processes the SUR expiry date product file in the LMU of the target system.
  4. With this done the subscription expiration date is now updated and distributed to all connected license clients.
