The Root causes view displays details about the cause and course of action of an event.

Filter | The filter function limits the Root causes list through the selection of predefined properties. Add – Displays the Root cause and recommended actions dialog box that allows you to create new/customized Root cause labels and actions. |
Root cause type list | Description Long description of the root cause. |
Label A short description of the root cause course of action. This label also displays in the Rule Editor application when configuring the Root causes node. | |
Recommended actions Displays the list of recommended actions. | |
Version The version of the recommended actions associated with the root cause. | |
Created The date the root cause was initially crated. | |
Updated The date the root cause and it’s recommended actions was last updated. | |
| Edit– Displays the Root cause and Recommended Actions editor. Delete– Deletes the entire row. |

This pop-up editor allows you to edit the root cause information. Additionally, you can edit the recommended actions or add actions.
