To monitor the connection status of the video system from Security Manager, perform the following steps:
- Prerequisites: A video system is installed, and Video API is available for connection to cloud systems. For more information refer to the VMS documentation and to the Video Agent Installation Guide of the Video API installation bundle.
- Add the video system to Connections. For more information refer to: Adding the video system
- Download and run the configuration file in the system where Video System is installed. For more information refer to: Downloading and running the configuration file
- Check the connection status. For more information refer to: Monitoring the video system connection status
