It is recommended that to mount the TBR and TME devices as close to the ceiling as possible (at least two meters above floor level), to avoid interferences or damping. Please see mounting instructions for the respective products.
You can either commission the system remotely or on-site. We recommend commissioning the system remotely.
Collect static IP addresses, subnet and standard gateway information beforehand to remotely configure static IP addresses and network information.
- Commission the system.
- Pre-configure the system as far as possible.
- Add name and ID to the devices.
Clearly label the device with name and ID (printed), based on location and customer requirements. This simplifies recommissioning and installing the system at the customer site.
- Run pre-tests.
In the Desigo Plug and Play Automation app, go to the Commissioning > System Test to perform connectivity tests on BAN devices and collect data about the site, building, connected devices and functions.
Select Start to launch the tests and after completion select file format of the report to download.
Always update firmware to latest version during commissioning.
