• A communications network is setup and a Thread Border Router is within range.
  • The actuator stem on the wireless radiator valve actuator SSA911.02TH is fully retracted (delivery state).
  • The valve stem is not jammed and can freely move.
CAUTION! Never pull on the stem! Improper manipulation can damage the radiator valve as well as the actuator.
  1. Install the wireless radiator valve actuator on the radiator.
  • The printed DataMatrix code (DMC) must be accessible!
In the event that visibility cannot be guaranteed: Take a picture of the DMC.
  • Do not remove the insulation strip from the battery compartment nor install the batteries.
  1. Prepare the pairing of the wireless radiator valve actuator with the communications network as per product documentation.
  1. Scan the DataMatrix code on the wireless radiator valve actuator.
  • Actuator assignment is done in the system.
  1. Remove the insulation strip from the battery compartment or install the batteries.
  • The battery compartment must be open and the batteries held lightly in place to remove the insulation strip.
  • Mechanical adaption is performed to ensure the proper operation of the mechanical function (duration ca. 10...15 seconds).
  • The wireless radiator valve actuator starts temperature control after successful adaptation at a setpoint of 21 °C.
  • The connection starts automatically.
  • The device displays PA (= "pairing"). The wireless symbol flashes briefly.
  • It can take up to 1 hour for the wireless radiator valve actuator to connect to the communications network and begin exchanging data.
  • In the event of an error message on the display, remove and reinstall the batteries to restart the device.
  • Commissioning is completed.
