At low voltage the DS11i line is started as an FDnet line. This allows the topology to be determined.

Where DS11i devices are subject to a separator, the low line voltage prevents closure of the separator. That means that FDnet devices located behind such a DS11i device will not be found.

Use this function to test whether a DS11i line includes further DS11i devices that are subject to a separator.

  1. Reading in the line with the 'DS11i Migration: Start Mixed Line Scan’ function.
  1. Save the topology.
  1. Reading in the line with the 'DS11i Migration: Start Low Voltage Scan’ function.
  • If the two topologies are compared, all remaining DS11i devices are localized.

NOTICE! For DS11i lines, never use the standard read-in function. The high line voltage can damage DS11i devices.
