AI | (Internal) alarm indicator of a line device. Typically a red LED. |
D-Bus address | Local communications address of a FDnet/C-NET line device for communication with the control panel. Depending on the system this number can be read on the control panel, or also the FDUD29x can display this number. |
DS11i | An (interactive) field bus is used in AlgoRex systems. |
EAI | External alarm indicator. Alarm indicator device which can be connected to a line device. |
FDnet/C-NET | Addressed detector line |
ID-Nr. | Unique identification number of a line device, visible on its label. |
line device | Device such as an automatic fire detector or, manual call point that is connected via the FDnet/C-NET to the control panel. |
line separator | Electronic switches in line devices which switch the minus conductor to isolate defect points such as a short circuit. |
loop | Outward and inward line (ring line) to the control panel on the FDnet/C-NET topology. |
stub | Simple line with line devices on the FDnet/C-NET topology, without other branches, only for connection to the control panel. |
Sub-loop | A stub which leads back to the loop. Sub-loops are not permissible as topology. |
Sub-stub | A branch from a loop topology. |
Topology | Arrangement of devices on an FDnet/C-NET detector line device. |
