To re-onboard the Automatic File Importer, you need to delete the existing configuration and configure SBC Agent again.
The re-onboarding does not delete the data in Security Manager. Contact Technical Support to re-initialize your company in Security Manager.
- You have uninstalled the existing Automatic File Importer. For more information, see: Uninstalling Automatic File Importer.
- Download the Automatic File Importer bundle from the SIOS portal (Siemens Industry Online Support) and extract the package into your computer.
- Double-click the Automatic File Importer.exe file.
- Follow the instructions in the setup wizard.
- Select the option Fresh install.
- Confirm the deletion of existing configuration.
Only your local configured data is deleted during a new installation.
- Click Next.
- Provide the details like CSV file path and Windows service username and password in the respective screens.
- Click Install to proceed.
- A new activation key is generated for re-onboarding of Automatic File Importer.
- Click Finish to complete the reinstallation.
- Automatic File Importer is reinstalled.
- Configure the SBC Agent to add Automatic File Importer to Devices. For more information, see: Configuring Siemens Building Connect Agent.
- The re-onboarding of Automatic File Importer is complete.
