Once onboarding is complete and the CSV file is placed in the specific file location provided during installation, the Automatic File Importer will begin processing the CSV file.
When a country code is provided in the configuration file usersettings.json, the corresponding identities that match the country code in the configuration file are identified in the CSV file and synchronized to Security Manager. If no country code is provided, all identities are synchronized to Security Manager regardless of country.
Follow the steps below to configure the country code in configuration file for country-based identity synchronization:
- Ensure that the Automatic File Importer is installed successfully.
- Ensure that the configuration file usersettings.json is available in C:\ProgramData\SIEMENS\Automatic File Importer.
The drive in the path C:\ProgramData\SIEMENS\Automatic File Importer may vary depending on the drive you used for installation.
- Open the configuration file.
- By default, no country code is available in the configuration file as shown in the image below.
- Enter the required country code in the configuration file to synchronize the identities based on the country.
- For example, if country codes IN and DE are provided in the configuration file as shown in the below image, then only the identities of IN and DE countries available in CSV file are synchronized to Security Manager.
- Save the file.
- Identities are automatically synchronized to Security Manager based on the specified country. For any synchronization issues, see: Synchronization issues.
