Making settings in Devices - Configuration - Installation

1. Use the following link to open Devices in the Horizon Cloud: https://assets.bpcloudapps.siemens.com/.

2. Login into Devices app. For more information, see: Building X Devices User Guide.

3. Select  Sites.

4. Select a site from the All sites list.

5. Select a building from the All buildings list.

• The All devices dialog opens.

6. Click + Add.

• The Add device dialog opens.

7. Paste the activation key in the Activation key field.

8. Click Validate.

• Additional fields will be displayed.

9. Enter a name in the Custom name field. Other fields are not required.

10. Click Add.

• The Assign distribution dialog opens.

11. For initial usage of server apps, select Reference distribution as distribution type.

12. Click Save.

13. Select the Applications tab.

14. Select the Install checkbox for the device and click Synchronize.

• The Reference distribution App will be installed.

• After a few minutes, the device will be available in the Devices overview.

15. Check the connection state in the Information tab. The state must be Online.
