There are two options for logging off MSIB: Manually logging off or allowing the system to automatically log off.
- Manually logging off immediately prevents unauthorized users from accessing the application.
- Automatic log off ends a MSIB session after a 20 minute period of inactivity from the browser.
It is not recommended to close the browser without a manual log off or automatic log off.
To log off manually, open the User menu on the top right-side of the screen, then select Logout as shown below.
If you receive an error message that states maximum sessions exceeded, this means you have opened too many browser sessions without logging off. You will need to either wait for the 20 minute auto log off, or you will need to log off of a session before another can be opened.
