- The synchronization starts and the number of data items available offline and the number of data items that are yet to be synchronized from the server display. When synchronizing data for the first time, the entire data set from the server is synchronized to your device. On subsequent synchronization, only the modified entries are synchronized.
- After the synchronization is complete, you can work with the data on your device in the offline mode.
After synchronizing the data, you might observe a discrepancy between the number of records on your device and the server. That happens when a record has been deleted on the server. To delete these records in the offline cache, you need to clear the cache on your device and synchronize the data once again. To clear the device cache, navigate to the device settings and enable the Clear Cache option for Lifecycle Twin.
