- Search for the component via the barcode scan or asset identification.
- The component or components matching the search criteria display.
- Tap and select the component you want to edit.
- The details of the selected component displays.
- Tap Properties.
- The Properties tab displays with additional information of the selected component.
The Attributes and Assemblies tabs are not available when working in the offline mode.
When working in the offline mode, you must tap Edit in the Properties tab and edit the required property in the Edit Component screen.
- Navigate to the property you want to edit and tap .
- A dialog box displays with information on the selected property.
- Edit the property and tap Save.
In the offline mode, any previously existing images of the component are not accessible or viewable. After synchronization, the existing images of the component that were not visible in the offline mode are automatically replaced with the new images.
If you have edited the properties of the component in the offline mode, you must upload the updated information to the server. See Uploading offline changes to the server.
