You can access work orders through a link in a notification email. When you receive an email notification on your iPad regarding a work order, you can directly jump to the relevant work order by tapping the link in the email. If the work order does not exist or you do not have permissions to the work order, you will see relevant messages indicating the lack of permissions. It is important that you are logged in to Lifecycle Twin before you select the link in the email, else you are navigated to the login page and you need to log in before accessing the work order.

You can also access work orders in different sites and portfolios, if the concerned sites and portfolios are in the same region as you. When you close the work order you still maintain your current site and portfolio. If the work order belongs to a different region, you receive a message indicating that the work order is not found.

Perform the following steps if the notification email link opens in the Microsoft Edge browser:

  1. Open the Outlook app on your iPad.
  1. Tap the burger menu on the top-left corner.
  1. Tap Settings and scroll down to the Integrations & Add-Ins section.
  1. Tap Open Links With and select Default Browser.
