The device list displays all the devices listed for this site.

Only users with privileges 'Fire standard' or 'Fire advanced' can see the device list.

This section is applicable only for sites with fire panel firmware version MP8.0 and above.

Tests results Tab

Devices

Opens the device list for the site. By default, the devices list opens in the Test results tab.

Hierarchy browser

Displays the plant hierarchy of the devices:

  • Panel - Area - Section - Zone - Devices

Select another hierarchy level to display subordinate devices.

Device filter

The text filter applies to the Description. If you enter, for example, text 30, the results from all the columns are listed, including "301". Other filters include Device type, Model, Manual test, Visual check, Comment, DFT test, and DFT test results.

Device list

Displays detailed information on zones and devices.

Type

Displays the Device type.

Description

Displays the device type and the total number of the devices present at the zones.

Customer Text

Depending on the selected hierarchy level, either zone addresses, or device addresses are displayed.

Manual test 

Displays the information about the test results of manual tests which were executed in test mode or with real fire alarm.

There are three status value:

  • Skipped: When the device testing is skipped in test mode or when their is real fire alarm.
  • Passed: When the device testing is successful in the test mode or when there is real fire alarm.
  • Failed: When the device testing is failed in the test mode or when there is real fire alarm.
  • Not applicable: When the device testing is not started or when there is real fire alarm.

DFT

Disturbance Free Test (DFT) is applicable to only Automatic detectors which automatically detects the status of the detectors virtually. Following are the different DFT values:

  • Not tested: When the DFT tests is not initiated.
  • Passed: When automatic detector tests from panel is started then status is passed

Visual check

Visual check column indicates the device is checked. The value of the Visual check depends on the status of Manual tests value.

  • When the Manual test column value is Passed then the Visual check status is Ok.
  • When the Manual test column value is Failed or Not tested then the Visual check status is Not OK or Not checked.
  • When the Manual test column value is Skipped then the Visual check status is Not checked or Not OK.

Comment

Displays comments to mention important device information or some additional device notes.

Site report

Downloads the site report.

Date Filter

Filter the device data as per the selected date range.

Device detailed pane

Displays detailed information of the selected device. It is only displayed when a specific device is selected. For more information, see Displaying detailed device information.

Soiling

Navigation to Soiling tab

Login to the Fire Manager > Devices. Switch to Soiling tab. Opens the device list for the site in the Soiling tab.

Soiling column

Soiling column: Indicates the soil level on the detector. The value is in %. Based on the soiling value the exchange detector action is recommended/required.

  • If the soil value is between 0-99% (Normal/Low value) is indicated by 'Green' color and No action required
  • If the soil value is between 100-150% (High) is indicated by 'Orange' color and Exchange recommended
  • If the soil value is above > 150% (Maximum) is indicated by 'Red' and Exchange required

Device detail right pane > Soiling expander

Displays the present values. The values displayed is same as the Expect exchange within column.

Operating hours

Navigate to Operating hours tab

Login to the Fire Manager > Devices. Switch to Operating hours tab. Opens the device list for the site in the Operating hours tab.

Operating

Indicates the duration a device has been in use (device age), serving as an operation time counter to help track device age and plan for replacements.

Last exchange

Displays the elapsed time since the device was last replaced. For example, Last exchanged [years]: 1 years and 7 months (3/7/23)

Displays the same value as Operating and Last exchange column in device detail pane.
