Full name: Project name + Device category name. For example, if a device category is AHU and GPI variable is AHU_F1_1.SF_STA, then the full name of the device is XX.AHU.AHU_F1_1.SF_STA.
Full GPI variable name: Unit name + Device name + Status. For example, if the unit is AHU-F1-1, the device is Supply Fan and the status is Operation, then the full name of the device is AHU_F1_1.SF_STA.
A unit name should be the same with that in the layout plan. If no unit name is mentioned in the plan, name the unit using its category, floor number and device numbering. For example, a unit on the first floor can be named as AHU_F1_#.
Device names and statuses can be found in this document. You can also add new ones following defined naming conventions and summarize the newly-added regularly.
Project names can be acronyms or known English terms.
