• When "COM1-RS485 Mode" is selected as "Server", ELC.E14 can act as a Modbus RTU Server device to communicate with the Modbus RTU Client device.
• After ELC.E14 acts as a Modbus RTU Server device and transmits data to the Modbus RTU Client device, you can configure object mapping information about its data points under "Communication Configuration" > "COM1 Server Points“ ("TCP & COM1 Server Points” or “TCP Server Points”). The configuration information in this window also allows ELC.E14 to act as Modbus TCP Server and transmit data to Modbus TCP Client devices.
