Firmware upgrade and factory reset

You can ask your local Siemens office for firmware upgrade and driver files before upgrading the controller and I/O extension modules.

NOTICE

If no manual restart is required, always keep the device powered on during upgrade to avoid upgrade failure!

After the upgrade is complete, the new firmware version can be viewed during simulation and commissioning. See "Simulation and commissioning" for details.
