Online Licensing allows the LMS client to check if this license is already used on another system. Online Licensing ensures that the license is only used on exactly one system at the time.

NOTICE! Partial activation for online licensing is not supported. Online Licensing is not suitable for darksite (offline) systems.

Activate online license using Entitlement ID:

  1. In Online Licensing > select Entitlement ID from the left Navigation pane.
    Make sure that option Online Licensing is selected in Operation pane.
  1. Add Entitlement IDs given in the e-mail, received from LMS in the Entitlement ID text box.
  1. Click on Retrieve Entitlement.
  1. Set start date.
    NOTICE! If start date is not given, it immediately activates the license. To avoid overlaps with a still valid license an activation delay of max. 30 days can be defined.
  1. Select licenses to activate (check boxes).
  1. Click Activate Licenses.
  • If the operation is successful, license(s) will appear in the Licensed Products view. In addition, if the installed product(s) enforce CSID, then the Site ID number appears on the top menu.

 

Activate online license using Activation ID:

  1. In Online Licensing > select Activation ID from the left Navigation pane.
    Make sure that option Online Licensing is selected in Operation pane.
  1. Add Activation IDs given in the e-mail, received from LMS in the Activation ID text box.
  1. Set the start date.
  1. Click “Add Activation ID” (repeat step 3-4 for each line item).
  1. Check whether you have added all activation IDs needed.
  1. Click Activate License.
  • If the operation is successful, license(s) will appear in the Licensed Products view. In addition, if the installed product(s) enforce CSID, then the Site ID number appears on the top menu.
