Password

If password protection (needs to be done by HVAC installer) is enabled via P82 (default: disable), users must enter the password to open parameter setting mode.

The password is set via P83. Users press + and - to select required number and press () to confirm.

If the password is mistyped 5 times, the thermostat is locked and the password cannot be entered for 5 minutes. Symbols and display.

Parameter settings

To optimize control performance, use the local HMI to enter parameter mode and adjust a number of control parameters. All control parameter settings are retained after power failure.

Proceed as follows to change the control parameters:

Press and hold the and buttons simultaneously for more than 3 seconds.

Service level: Release the buttons, within 2 seconds, short press + and Pxx is displayed after release.
Expert level: Release the buttons, within 2 seconds, short press - and Pxx is displayed after release.

Press + or - (< or >) to access the desired parameter and the value of the selected parameter is displayed at the same time.

Press () to edit the value of the required parameter.

Press + or - to increase/decrease or select the value of the current parameter during editing.

Press () to confirm the new value and repeat steps 3 to 5 to change more parameters.

Press () to exit parameter setting mode.

Reload factory settings

  • Select parameter P89 and set it to 1.
  • The factory settings of the control parameters are reloaded.
    • "- - -" is displayed during reload.
    • RDF4..BN: Communication parameters P90...P96 settings are not reloaded.

Note

When parameters d04...d08 are changed, the device restarts automatically to initialize the new application configuration if:

  • Press () to exit the parameter setting mode.
  • After a 2 minute timeout.
