Only the rule creator can create the default schedule. The default schedule overwrites the schedule created at the partition and asset level. For example, if a rule has a schedule on partition or asset level, the default schedule is used instead. The partition or asset level schedule remains as a back-up and is used if the default schedule is deleted.
- You have the Rules Advanced user role.
- You are in the Company library.
- The rule is in the Activated status.
- In the table, select More > Default Schedule next to the rule.
- The Default schedule dialog displays.
- In Recurrence, select the recurrence in minutes, hours, days or months to run the rule and specify the recurrence pattern. The default recurrence is 4 hours.
- In Data collection period, do one of the following:
- Select Last and define a period of time for which the data should be collected in Minutes, Hours, Days or Months. For example, if we configure a data collection frame for the last two hours and the rule is carried out at 10:17 am, then the data for the previous two hours (8.15 am to 10.15 am) is collected.
- Select Previous full and define a complete period of time for which the data should be collected in Minutes, Hours, Days or Months. For example, if we configure a data collection frame for previous full two hours and the rule is carried out at 10:17 am, then the data for the complete two previous hours (8 am to 10 am) is collected.
- Select Save.
