The configuration of the Connect Box On Premise license is warranted via 4G internet connection that is valid for 3 years. Temporary data transmission for configuration purposes has to be turned on with the toggle switch and is available for 60 minutes period. After 60 minutes it is turned off automatically. For the continuous data transmission, you need a permanent internet connection via the ethernet port described in the workflow below.
- In case of manual network configuration, you have the IP address, Netmask and Gateway IP address for the manual network configuration.
- Go to the Connect Box web interface.
- Select Connect Boxes On Premise.
- Select the device you want to set up the connection for.
- Go to the Configuration > Connectors.
- Select the eth connector that you want to use for permanent internet connection.
- For automatic configuration, select the DHCP from the dropdown list (1).
- For manual configuration, select Manual from the dropdown list (2) and complete the fields. For more information, see How to create a custom routing table.
- Select Save, then select Save changes.
- (Optional) Complete the description field.
- Select Send to the box to confirm.
- The device is connected to the internet.
