Add the gateway to Fire Panel configuration

  • The Engineering tool is open.
  1. Open the site configuration.
  1. For Type select FG2004.
  1. Select Ethernet station.
  1. Select Add.

Adding site-wide visibility

  • The Engineering tool is open.
  1. Select Operation in the upper right corner to open the operations tree.
  1. Open the dropdown tree Station > PMI.
  1. Perform a right click on Standard visibility.
  1. Select Assign.
  • The Assign dialog opens.
  1. Select Site > Site > Assign.
  1. Select Close.
  1. Open the dropdown tree Site > Global system configuration.
  1. Select Global behaviour.
  • The Global behaviour card opens.
  1. In Cloud select the respective boxes to transfer the data into the cloud and enable commands.

Setting a time master

The gateway can act as a time master for all fire panels in the network with IP8. This feature is not supported with IP7.

  • The Engineering tool is open.
  1. Select Operation in the upper right corner to open the operations tree.
  1. Open the dropdown tree Site > Global system configuration.
  1. Perform a right click on Global system time.
  1. Select Unassign.
  1. Perform a right click on Global system time.
  1. Select Assign.
  • The New effect dialog opens.
  1. Select the FG2004 > Assign > Close.

Completing the setup

  • The Engineering tool is open.
  1. Select Network in the upper right corner to open the network tree.
  1. Open the dropdown tree Global system configuration > Network configuration > Ethernet sub-net.
  1. Perform a right click on Functions.
  1. Select Assign.
  • The Assign dialog opens.
  1. Select the function GAP.
  1. Select the Cerberus PRO panel.
  1. Select Assign > Close.
  1. Select the newly assigned GAP.

Setting up a route to the gateway

  • The Engineering tool is open.
  1. Select Network in the upper right corner to open the network tree.
  1. Open the dropdown tree Global system configuration > Network configuration > Ethernet sub-net.
  1. Perform a right click on Routes.
  1. Select New > Route.
  • The Route card opens.
  1. Enter the IP address of the cloud gateway in the Destination address field.

The IP address of each panel can be found in the Ethernet sub-net > Connections in the table on the right side.

Initializing the gateway

  • The Engineering tool is open.
  1. Change the IP address of the local ethernet interface of your computer to 192.168.200.5.
  1. Select the FG2004.
  1. In the navigation bar, select Commissioning > Initialize station.
  1. Select Start in the Initialize station dialog.
  1. After the installation, in the navigation bar select Commissioning > Download site.
