To use Comfort AI, specific steps must be performed in Accounts and Data Setup. This chapter explains the steps and which equipment is required.
- In Accounts, add all users for Comfort AI to the Machine User Administrator user group, additional to their role for Comfort AI. See Adding users to user groups.
- Switch to Data Setup.
- Create the building structure. Add tags to the floors and rooms according to their orientation. For instructions on how to tag locations, see Tagging locations. The tags are described here: Tags for Comfort AI.
- Create at least one central equipment for each building. See: Creating pieces of equipment. For Discipline, select Comfort.
- Create any equipment called automation station for each room for control and automation points. See: Creating pieces of equipment. The discipline and type are described below.
- Create at least one zone equipment for each room. See: Creating pieces of equipment. The discipline and type are described below.
- Add supplies relationships from central to zone equipment. See Creating relationships.
- In the Relationships card, add 30 seconds for the Requested polling time to every equipment.
- Assign heating and cooling data points to all equipment (zone, central).
- Assign tags to the data points. For instructions on how to add a tag to a data point, see Tagging data points. The tags are described here: Tags for Comfort AI.
- Assign other data points (for example, indoor temperature, set points, occupancy) to the automation station equipment. The instructions are the same as in the last step.
