• You have tagged data points in the Data Setup app.
  • You have the DV Advanced user role.
  • You are in the Dashboard page.
  1. Select Edit.
  1. Select Create widget.
  1. From the list of available widget types, select the Overview widget.
  1. Select Next.
  • The Create widget wizard displays.

  1. Enter a name for the widget.
  1. From the Structure, select a location or equipment (1) for which the analysis is calculated.
  • In Available tags, the tags available for the location displays.
  1. In Available tags, do one of the following:
  • Select a tag or combination of tags from the search list and select Select (2).
  • In the tag list, select (3) next to the tag.
  1. In Selected tags, expand a tag entry (4).
  1. Edit the fields as required. For example, set another color for the chart, lower and upper limit values, change the chart type or the axis on which the tags data is displayed, and enabled occupancy integration (6) to perform KPI calculation considering space occupancy.
  1. (Optional) To add multiple threshold values, select More limit (5) and do the following:
  • In the Define additional limits dialog, select to add the more limits for data point and enter values for it.
  • Select Save.

You can add a maximum of 15 limits for each data point.

If the selected tags contain data types (Boolean, String, Enum, or Integer), the Threshold values, Chart type and Y axis fields are disabled. The KPI calculation is also disabled for these data types. The default values for the Chart type and Y axis are Line and Right, respectively.

If the selected tags contain Numeric data types, the Threshold values, Chart type and Y axis fields are enabled. The KPI calculation is enabled for Numeric data types.

  1. (Optional) Use the Use dashboard filter toggle (7) to enabled /disabled the dashboard filter.

If the Use dashboard filter is enabled, the widget fetches the data as per the time range configured at dashboard level.

If the Use dashboard filter is disabled, the dashboard fetches the data as per the time range configured at widget level.

  1. Select Step 2 (8).

  1. Select multiple locations (maximum 20) of the data points.
  1. To view the chart in the preview, set a time range (9).
  1. Define a KPI range (10).
  1. (Optional) From the dropdown list, select a limit (11) for the KPI calculation.
  1. Select Calculate KPI (12).
