The schedules at partition level will affect all linked assets of that rule in that partition except if those assets have their own schedule.
If the default schedule is applied to the rule, the schedule at the partition level is not applied for the rule. Once the default schedule is deleted, the partition level schedule is applied for the rule.
- You have the Rules Standard or Rules Advanced user role.
- You are in the Partition library.
- The rule is assigned to a partition.
- The rule is linked to at least an asset.
- Select the partition from the dropdown list.
- In the table, select More > Schedule next to the rule.
- The Create partition schedule dialog displays.
- In Recurrence (1), select the days to run the rule and specify the recurrence pattern.
- In Data collection frame (2), do one of the following:
- Select Last and define a period of time for which the data should be collected in Minutes, Hours, Days or Months. For example, if we configure a data collection frame for the last two hours and the rule is carried out at 10:17 am, then the data for the previous two hours (8.15 am to 10.15 am) is collected.
- Select Previous full and define a complete period of time for which the data should be collected in Minutes, Hours, Days or Months. For example, if we configure a data collection frame for previous full two hours and the rule is carried out at 10:17 am, then the data for the complete two previous hours (8 am to 10 am) is collected.
- In Range of recurrence (3), define the start and end date to run the series.
- Select Save.
