The wireless room actuators control the room temperature setpoints in accordance with to their own room sensors. Sometimes the location of the radiator actuator is not optimized for temperature measurement.
In such cases, a wireless room sensor can be deployed to measure the room temperature in a better location and transfer its measured value to the wireless room actuators. To enable this feature the function Calculate effective room temperature must be applied.
The displayed value on a device is always the temperature measured by the device sensor. The effective temperature input shown in the WRA detail card is the average of the measurements from the WRS/WRU in a given room.
Example 1: The temperature measurement from WRS denoted “953” is applied to the two radiator actuators.
Example 2: The temperature measurements from WRS denoted “C94F” and “943” are averaged and applied to the three radiator actuators.
