The season mode feature requires the global function Determine radiator season mode added to the heating discipline. It allows setting the dates for the heating season by selecting Edit. In Details, the mode can be set to No heating, Heating, or Auto, where the mode is determined by the dates of the heating season. The feature forces the WRA into power-saving mode, increasing battery life.
