Note: A Thread border router must be commissioned before any Thread mesh extender or wireless room actuator can be commissioned.
- The Thread mesh extender has been installed, is powered on and has been assigned to a room in the planning step (see Adding floors and rooms).
- Select assigned device and click Connect to start commissioning. Please note that the status of the device must be as described under Before you start. Click Next to continue
- Click Next and direct the scanner onto the QR code on the product.
- Select network/Thread border router to assign to from the drop-down menu.
- The Thread device is automatically onboarded. Confirm by clicking Save and then Next.
- The Thread device is automatically configured and is ready to use.
