The demand from RDF fan coil units in the building can be calculated based on information from the room thermostats. The aggregated demand is then used to determine the state (on/off) of the heating plant and/or cooling plant, controlled by a relay.
The functions supporting the demand-based switching relays need to be deployed in the project.
The figure shows a primary heating plant controlled by information collected from the devices.
