A fan coil controller for a 2-pipe application requires a signal to determine whether cold or hot water is available in the pipework. With the function Determine heating/cooling changeover condition, it is possible to set the changeover with a calendar entry.
The changeover is not determined by manual entry on the thermostats, which only listen to the function output. The figure shows a diagram of a primary 2-pipe heating/cooling plant.
