The landing page of the device user interface is the Operations page, which shows the status of the connection and a summary of installed applications and identifiers of the device.
Connection status
The GUI has a banner displaying the connectivity status of the device.
It shows the status of
- Connectivity to cloud services
- Registration state, that is, the result of registration (as described in the Quick Install Guide)
- Network mode - combined or separate (see Network environment).
The device is not operational without registration. Failing cloud connectivity limits the functions of the device to a degree that depends on the application.
Operation
In the Operation section, device details such as serial number and activation key are tabulated and the state of running applications is shown in the lower right pane. By scanning the QR code, the edge gateway information together with its MAC and IP addresses can be retrieved and forwarded to an e-mail address.
