Temperature control

The thermostat acquires the room temperature via built-in sensor, external room temperature sensor (NTC 3k or NTC 10k), external return air temperature sensor (NTC 3k or NTC 10k) and maintains the setpoint by delivering actuator control commands to heating equipment, cooling equipment, or both. The following control output is available:

  • On/Off control (2-position)

The switching differential is 2 K in heating (adjustable via parameter P40) and 1 K in cooling (adjustable via parameter P41).

The thermostat acquires the room temperature via its built-in sensor and maintains the setpoint by delivering 2-position valve control commands.

Display

The display shows the current room temperature, the currently selected fan speed (adjustable via parameter P03) or the setpoint of the current operating mode (adjustable via parameter P11). The factory setting displays the current room temperature.

Setpoint adjustment and limitations

The factory setting for the basic setpoint is 21 ℃. The setpoint can be adjusted via the +/- buttons. The minimum (P20) and maximum (P21) setpoint limitations can be used to save energy.

Concept as below:

P20<P21(comfort concept) - typical use case

If the minimum setpoint (P20) is set below the maximum setpoint (P21), the heating setpoint can be adjusted between these two limits. The users desired setpoint and the unit controls the room temperature accordingly.

Keylock

Keylock can be activated or deactivated via parameter P15 (see Control parameters) when the unit is in ON and OFF mode.
