If a rule is activated at the partition level, all assets linked to this rule from partition are also activated and can run their schedule.
If a rule is deactivated at the partition level, all assets linked to this rule from partition are also deactivated and cannot run their schedule. If the default schedule is not present, you can modify the schedule, but cannot be run.
If a rule is deactivated at the partition level, it cannot be activated at the asset level.
- You have the Rules Standard or Rules Advanced user role.
- The rule is assigned to a partition.
- You are in the Partition library.
- In the table, select More > Activate or Deactivate next to the rule.
- The Update schedule status dialog displays.
- Select Activate or Deactivate.
