To create offline locks, proceed as follows:

  1. In vertical navigation, open Configuration > Locks.
  1. Click Create.
  • By default, the Salto type is selected in the Vendor dropdown list.
  • By default, the SALTO Nebula is selected in the System type dropdown list.
  1. Select Offline from Device type dropdown list.
  1. The Standard operating mode is pre-selected. Select Office from the dropdown list if needed.
  1. Enter the lock ID that is unique for a lock in the Lock text field. NOTICE! The lock ID is alphanumeric with uppercase letters from A to F and the length of 14 characters. For example, 1234567890ABCD. The lock ID is printed on the lock.
  1. Click Save.
  • The created lock is displayed in the Locks list.

Now the lock must be commissioned in the SALTO Nebula app. See Commissioning locks and gateway using SALTO Nebula app.

Before offline locks can be opened with a physical credential, you have to access at least one online lock with this credential.
