1. Select the Workflow tab.
  1. To create a new workflow, click Create.
  1. In the Name field, enter a name for the workflow.
  1. In the Description field, enter additional text that shortly describes this workflow. This field is optional.
  1. To display this workflow for users in the Self services, activate the Show in self services checkbox.
  1. To allow this workflow to be started by a delegate, activate the Can be started by a delegate checkbox.
  1. Select a group from the Groups drop-down list to restrict the access to the workflow. Multiple groups can be selected. To create a group, see Building X Security Manager Online Help, chapter Creating groups.

If no group is selected all users have access to the workflow.

  1. The Permission field is deprecated. It shows the permissions of previously created workflows.
  1. Under Files, upload a Business Process Model Notation file (*.BPMN) containing the actual workflow definition.
  1. Under Files, upload a workflow UI configuration file (*.json) to define the UI displayed to users. This is optional.
  1. Click Save.
  • The workflow definition appears in the list.

Now you can start the workflow.
