By default, the identity type UIM is used to configure a specific identity type for the company.

1. In the vertical navigation, open Configuration > System settings.

2. Under Settings, select Identity management.

3. Select Edit to update the default configuration of identity management.

• By default, the identity type UIM is selected. If required, you can change the identity type.

4. (Optional) Select an identity type from the Identity type dropdown list.

5. Set the credential limit in Max. number of active mobile devices and physical credentials and Max. number of active mobile devices.

6. Select Save.

• If you reduce the credential limit, the existing active credentials get deactivated automatically.
