Configuring the leading data source helps prevent conflicts when synchronizing data between the PACS and Security Manager.

• Configuration > Connections is displayed.

• The connection of the PACS is created and displayed in Security Manager.

By default, Security Manager is set as the leading data source.

1. To configure the leading data source, select the connected PACS from the Connections list.

• The connection details, including name, type, subtype, and unique identifier, are displayed.

2. To edit the configuration, select Edit.

3. Choose one of the following options:

• PACS: The value of the attribute in the PACS will be set as leading data source and updates to the attribute are synchronized accordingly.

• Security Manager: The value of the attribute in Security Manager will be set as leading data source and updates to the attribute are synchronized accordingly.

4. Select Save.

• The leading data source is configured.
