Follow the below steps to create the Dormakaba lock:
- In vertical navigation open Configuration > Locks.
- Click Create.
- In the Vendor field, click the drop-down and select Dormakaba.
- Enter the number for the lock, which is unique.
- Enter the name of a lock.
- Enter a short name, if required.
- Select the active check box to activate the device/lock.
- From the Terminal class drop-down list select any device type xs or evolo.
- From the ID card type drop-down list select any card type as per the requirement.
- In Master medium field (applicable for only evolo), click the drop-down and select any option evolo master A or evolo master B.
A master medium is a special ID card that is required to synchronize evolo components with the evolo programmer.
- Enter an additional comment, if required.
- In the Door release pulse length (DRP) field, enter a value to unlock the door for a specified time duration.
- Enter the AoC ID value of the lock.
- In the Extended release pulse length for OSS field (applicable for only evolo), enter a value to unlock the door for an extended time duration. .
- Select the AoC (Access on card) check box to enable the AoC function on the device/lock.
- Select the DoC (Data on card) check box to enable the DoC function on the device/lock.
- Select the Mobile Access (Infinilink) check box (applicable for only evolo) to enable the Mobile Access connection.
Available only with Dormakaba smartphone APP and not available with Security Manager.
- Select the Access with smartphone without user interaction checkbox (applicable for only evolo) to provide input through a smart phone for Mobile Access.

- Select the OSS check box (applicable for only evolo) to enable the OSS function on the device/lock.
- Under Schedule click Assign schedule.
- In the Available Schedules dialog, select the schedule from the list.
- Click Assign.
- The schedule is assigned to the lock.
- Click Save.
- If the lock is assigned to a door, the lock status displays as Assigned to a door. If lock is not assigned to a door, the lock status displays as Not assigned to a door.
- The Battery status displays as Replacement required, Medium or High. Also, displays as N/A (not applicable) when the lock is configured in Security Manager, but does not exist physically or is not installed.
- The Dormakaba lock is created.
