A visitor can be checked-in for one visit. If there is more than one planned visit, visits where no visitor is checked in, are also moved to Past the next day.
- Visits > Visitors is displayed.
- The visitor has been registered. For more information refer to: Creating visitors.
- Consent documentation has been uploaded to Security Manager. For more information refer to: Uploading documentation.
- In the Visitors list, select the visitor, whom you want to check in.
- Open the Visits tab.
- If no planned visit is available yet, create a visit for today. For more information refer to: Adding visits to visitors.
- Click
Check in next to the visit that is planned for today. If there are several visits under Planned, choose the appropriate one.
- When consent documentation has been uploaded to a campus and the visitor has not yet provided consent, a confirmation dialog appears during check-in. This dialog prompts the guard to confirm that the required documentation has been handed to the visitor upon arrival. Click Check in to proceed. Keep in mind that this confirmation is solely for the guard's acknowledgment; the visitor's consent is not recorded, and no documentation is uploaded by the guard in this process.
- The visit is displayed under Ongoing.
- Visit start on the General tab is set to the current date and time.
- Visitor data cannot be edited as long as the visitor is checked in.
- An email is sent to the host with the following information: visitor name, purpose of visit, and company if available. The host is asked to pick up the visitor at the gate.
- All configuration changes are logged under Operation > Activities.
