1. In the vertical navigation, select Self services > Requests.
  1. Click Create to submit an access request.
  1. In the Explanation field, add a description with the reason of your request.
  1. Click Select group.
  1. In the Select group dialog, select a group. NOTICE! Use the Search field to search for a particular group.
  1. Click OK.
  1. Click Save.
  • A request for a group with no approver is approved immediately and does not appear in the Requests list.
  • A request for a group with approvers is submitted and displayed in the Requests list. You can check the approval states under General > Approvals.
  • Notification e-mails are sent to all approvers and the requester.
Submitted requests cannot be changed

Once a request has been submitted, it can no longer be changed. In case you made a mistake in the settings, you need to delete your request (see Deleting requests) and place a new one.
