During identity creation, fields are displayed based on the identity type selected in the System settings for a particular company. For UIM_SCIM_Identity and other corporate directory identity types, identities are synchronized to Security Manager from the corresponding directories.
- Identity type is configured in System settings. For more information, refer to: Configuring identity management.
- Access > Identities is displayed.
The Select partition dialog is displayed only for companies with multiple partitions. Whenever you switch to a different company, the dialog is displayed.
The dialog is not displayed for companies with a single partition or no partition.
- In the Select partition dialog, perform any one of the following steps:
- Select the required partition from the list to create an identity in the selected partition.
- Select the Not assigned to any partition option to create an identity without any partition in the company.
- Click Save to save the partition.
- The identities are displayed based on the selection along with the selected partition.
- If required, you can select different partition. For more information, refer to: Selecting partitions.
- Click Create to add an identity.
- In the General tab, enter the First name, Last name, Email, and a Description (optional).
- You can upload a photo.
- Click Save.
