The Access granted, readers dashboard provides an overview of all card readers available in Security Manager, the accesses granted by these card readers, and their trend. On the right-hand side of the screen, there is a column chart displaying the number of accesses granted by a card reader selected in the list at any given day or hour. At the bottom of the screen, there is a column chart comparing the number of accesses granted during the selected period with the previous period.

Card readers list

The card readers list displays all card readers, the number of accesses granted by a specific card reader, and its trend during the selected period.

You can specify the sorting direction for the respective column. If the arrow points upwards, the sorting is performed in ascending order. Lower values are displayed first. If the arrow points downwards, the sorting is performed in descending order. Higher values are displayed first.

In case of descending ordering, 50 card readers with the highest traffic are displayed. In case of ascending ordering, 50 card readers with the lowest traffic are displayed.

Card reader: It displays all card readers. To sort card readers by name, click Card reader.

Access granted: It displays the number of accesses granted. To sort card readers by the number of access granted events, click Access granted.

Trend: It helps to evaluate trends for each individual card reader in order to recognize, if the number of accesses granted has increased or decreased in comparison with the previous period. With previous period comparison, you can compare your data to the period of time directly before the current period. To sort card readers by the number of trends, click Trend.

Access granted column chart

On the right-hand side of the screen, there is a diagram. When you click a card reader in the card readers list, it is visualized in the column chart. You can hover over a blue bar of the column chart. The vertical axis displays the number of accesses granted by a specific card reader. The horizontal axis displays the time in hours of the single day or the date and day of the week during the selected period. What is displayed in the column chart depends on the period selected in the Calendar bar. For more information on the Calendar bar, refer to: Working with the calendar bar.

You can switch between the Days and 24 hours view for the selected period. The 24 hours view allows you to get an insight into the distribution of events, aggregated to 24 hours per day.

Days: Using this view you can see how many card readers such as rooms, areas or buildings of the site are occupied or utilized at any given day.

24 hours: Using this view you can see how many card readers such as rooms, areas or buildings of the site are occupied or utilized at any given hour. In this way, you can easily identify the peak times for your site.

All sites drop-down list

You can display the number of accesses granted by card readers at the selected site.

Therefore, select the site from the All sites drop-down list. For more information, refer to: All sites.

Tags drop-down list

You can filter the number of accesses granted by card readers based on a specific tag you have created.

Therefore, select the tag from the Tags drop-down list. For more information, refer to: Tags.

Trend column chart

At the bottom of the screen, there are two diagrams. When you click a card reader in the card readers list, it is visualized in the column charts. You can hover over bars of the column charts. The vertical axis displays the number of accesses granted by the card reader. The horizontal axis displays the time in hours of the single day or the date and day of the week during the selected period.
