There are two ways to add devices: manual or by import from a device list.
Adding devices manually
- Select Add Device ⇒ Add a real device or
and Add a real device in the mobile view. - Scan the DM-code
on the device using the camera of your smartphone or PC, or by entering manually the credentials to join the device: Device Type, Serial Number, EUI-64, and Credential (P). These parameters are printed on the rear of the device.
- Confirm with apply.
There is also the option to add planned devices.
Bulk import of devices
- For simultaneous (bulk) import of many devices, create a .csv file with Thread network device credentials: Device Type, Serial Number, EUI-64, and Credential (P). Drop the .csv file in the browser window and select Apply.
You can also use a device list exported previously from a KNX IoT to BACnet/IP gateway.
Do not change the device list once exported.
