A partition is a part of a company. Subscriptions and access permissions can be assigned to a partition, giving the same user different access permissions for different partitions. Companies have at least one partition. For each campus or stand-alone building, a separate partition is recommended. Partitions can be created as a service for other companies and be handed over to another company after the onboarding is complete.

Once you have added data to a partition, the data cannot be moved to another partition.

  • You are a member of the Customer Administrator or Partition Administrator user group.
  • You are in Partition management > Partitions > Owned.
  1. Select Create.
  1. Enter the Name.
  1. Select a Subscription. The subscription cannot be changed later.
  1. (Optional) Complete the Description field.
  1. Select Create.
  1. In the sidebar, select the user groups that have access to the partition.
  1. Select Save.
