• You are a member of the Customer Administrator or User Administrator user group.
  • You are in User Management > Invitations.
  1. Select Invite.
  1. Fill in the Name and Email address.
  1. Select the Notification language for the new user.
  • The invitation email is sent in the selected language. By default, the same language as for the inviting user is selected.
  • In the notification settings of the new user, the language selected for the invitation is chosen as notification language.
    If the new user is already a user of another Building X company, the preferred notification language as defined by the user will not be overwritten.

Currently, not all languages are supported. For those languages with missing translations, the fallback language is English.

  1. Select the User groups to which the invited user will be added.
  1. Select Send.
  • The user receives an email with a link.

If new users have not yet registered with Siemens ID, they need to register first before being able to log in and accept the invitation.
